Thanks to Dan Carrick, our class of 1986 connection, for having a video tape
of the 1986 All-School Variety Show. He converted the video to a DVD and
sent me a copy. So I chopped it up into little video nuggets, now available
on The Tube of You:
Playlist: FHS 1986 All School Variety Show
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=CBDDF05F6AE65AAA
NOTE: the first video of The Jazz Band playing the Peter Gunn theme had some
encoding problems. The clip is fine on the DVD and all of the other acts are
OK. I'll replace that video when I get a chance.
I'm making some progress on some other video -> DVD -> You Tube conversions.
They'll find their way online at some point.
Meanwhile, if anyone wants a hardcopy DVD of this, er, treasure, let me
know.
For those with stronger stomachs, the act 'Death Wish 4: Disney Style' is
the one where Barry Zimmerman is piked into the stage. It happens pretty
quickly and the video quality isn't great, otherwise, quite natually, I
would be attaching freeze frame screen shots to this email.
